Applicator® is a field-proven support software for the selection and planning of instruments. The new, considerably enhanced version includes selection functions for all flowmeters and radiometric measurements from Endress+Hauser.

For the user, it opens up a wide application spectrum in measurement and control. Technical specifications for all measuring instruments can be called up as required.

The modular structured Applicator® software enabled the user to expand the functionality of Applicator® for example with the new Corrosion Database for all flow products.

During the past three years the performance but also the variety of level radar devices has been increased significantly.

For the use of radar systems the application has to be analysed according to the process and the tank specific requirements.

Only then a cost effective solution can be defined. This article describes criteria for the proper selection of radar devices.
